This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase/use a service from www.blissfulbirth.uk (the “Site”) as well as the choices you have and your rights in relation to your personal information. Your privacy is important to me. Therefore, this policy has been created to answer any questions you might have about how I deal with your data. My practices and procedures are intended to ensure that the information you submit remains private and is only used for the purposes set out in this policy. When you visit the Site, I automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, I collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. I refer to this automatically collected information as “Device Information.”

Additionally, when you make a purchase or contact me to use my services through the Site, I collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, email address, and phone number. I refer to this information as “Contact Information.”
If you are an expectant parent, I will also collect the date that your baby is due to be born and I may also keep a record of your baby’s name and date of birth.
Under no circumstances do I, or never will, sell any of the personal data that I collect from you.
When I talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, I am talking both about Device Information and Contact Information.
I collect information about you and any third parties such as your partner and birth partner when you use my website, for example when you contact me about my courses.
The methods in which I collect data may include, but are not limited to:
Your information will be held confidentially and not shared with anyone else. Once the information is no longer needed it will be shredded. Records held on a computer system will be password protected.
I am required to allow you to view your information at any time - you may contact me to do so at wiebke@blissfulbirth.uk.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the data I hold on you is up to date so please contact me at any time to update your records.
I use the Contact Information that I collect generally to fulfil any services booked through the Site (including processing your message, contact information, arranging the preferred service/course, and providing you with invoices and/or booking confirmations). Additionally, I use this Contact Information to:

When in line with the preferences you have shared with me, provide you with information or advertising relating to my products or services.
I use the Device Information that I collect to help me screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimise my Site (for example, by generating analytics about how my customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of my marketing and advertising campaigns).
All the data that I collect is specifically for legitimate purposes; these may include, but are not limited to:

I share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, I use Processwire to host and manage my website. I only collect and process personal information about you where I have a lawful bases for doing so, namely in order to fulfil contracts I might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site or by requesting a service that I offer), or otherwise to pursue my legitimate business interests listed above.

I may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to my practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. Any personal identifiable information you provide to me will be subject to the most current version of this privacy policy posted on my website.
The participants agree that Wiebke Madden and Blissful Birth will hold your details securely on file and computer and, in accordance with the GDPR Act 2018, you have the right to view, amend or delete your individual file by giving at least seven days’ written notice. I treat and respect your personal data and treat it with the utmost care and only keep relevant information in order for me to be able to process your booking. Under no circumstances do I sell or give your information to a 3rd party.

If you have previously agreed to me using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, or for use of products or services, and you would like me to remove your data please email me at wiebke@blissfulbirth.uk and I will remove/delete your data within 28 days.
Voucher duration. Vouchers are valid for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase. Cannot be redeemed after expiry date.
Email vouchers. Email vouchers shall be provided to the email address provided at point of purchase.
Voucher redemption. Services must be pre-booked. Vouchers can be redeemed at time of booking only.
Refunds. Vouchers are non-refundable. No change or credit given in the event that the voucher value exceeds the total cost of the course – for example where a £100 voucher is used to purchase a £95 course.
Monetary vouchers. Monetary vouchers can be used for part or full payment. If the course cost exceeds the amount of the gift voucher, the balance must be paid in full by credit or debit card at the point of booking.
Course availability. Blissful Birth does not guarantee that spaces will be available on courses. Spaces are only secured once a course has been booked, so it is recommended that you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Transfer. Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Lost or stolen vouchers. Lost, stolen or destroyed gift vouchers will not be exchanged or refunded.
Cancellation. In the unlikely event that a course needs to be cancelled by Blissful Birth, a new gift voucher shall be issued and shall be valid for a further 6 months. In the event that a course is cancelled by a voucher holder no refund shall be given.
